Trip programme
An approximately nine-hour driving excursion combines the historic sites of Aragatsotn with high-altitude Lake Kari.
Saghmosavank. Start at the monastery above the gorge, with time to discover its architecture and views over the surrounding cliffs.
Armenian Alphabet Monument. See the outdoor stone letters celebrating Armenian language and culture.
Amberd. Continue to the fortress on the slopes of Mount Aragats, surrounded by hills and mountain scenery.
Lake Kari. The final stop is at a lake more than 3,000 metres above sea level. This driving itinerary does not include a summit climb.
Price for the whole group: 1–4 guests: 50,000 AMD. 5–7 guests: 70,000 AMD. Car and guide are included. The high-altitude section is subject to weather and road conditions.
